Here's exactly what happens from your first practice test to your first lesson.

1. Take a free practice test
Create a free account, take a free official practice test (Bluebook for the SAT, or ACT's free practice test), and upload your score report to share with tutors.
2. Find your tutor
Browse tutor profiles filtered by subject, price, and rating. Every tutor lists their real background, credentials, and student reviews — and tutors who passed a Checkr background check carry a green Background Verified badge you can filter for.
3. Book a lesson or package
Buy a single session or a discounted multi-session package from a tutor's page. Payment is processed securely by Stripe — your card details never touch Newton Exam's servers — and your booking is confirmed instantly with a receipt emailed to you automatically. Coupon codes are applied at checkout.
4. Share your progress dashboard
From each test's tab on your Progress Dashboard (SAT Math, SAT English, ACT Math, ACT English), choose which of your tutors can see it, so lessons target exactly what still needs work — no re-explaining your gaps.
5. Learn, track, and rebook
Meet with your tutor, watch mastered skills accumulate on your dashboard, and rebook with tutors you love or find a new one for a different subject.
